Dorking Wanderers were formed in 1999 and played in the Crawley District Football League for just one season before joining the West Sussex Football League. After a number of successful seasons and regular promotions they gained the accolade of winning the Premier League in 2006-07
An application was submitted to the Sussex County League and following signficant ground improvments they gained promotion to the Sussex County League , The reserve side play in the Reserve Section (West) of the Sussex County League
